普段都内ではなかなか経験させてあげられないことを経験させられてとても満足です。クワガタ探しではスタッフのりょうさんが目星をつけていた木に振動を与えて木からクワガタが落ちてきて、子供もおおはしゃぎでした。川沿いのザリガニ釣りでもザリガニをつることができて今年の夏のいい思い出作りができました。子供が家に帰ってから「次はいつ先生と会えるの？」ととっても楽しかったようでずっと言っています。最後にカブトムシもいただきました。この度は素敵な体験をありがとうございました♪

This is an experiential tour where you will experience calligraphy, one of Japan's proud artistic cultures, and create two works of art. Each participant will receive a piece of work created by our instructor. Original and not a print. The type to display on your desk comes with a frame as shown in the photo. Larger types are available only in kind. You will practice how to hold a brush, basic vertical lines, horizontal lines, sweeps, dots, etc., and we will create two works of art that you can display in your home. One will be a large piece to hang on the wall, and one will be a small piece to hang on a desk or table. The instructor is a master calligrapher and professional calligrapher certified by the Japan Educational Calligraphy Federation, and the host of the calligraphy class. Please join us on this experiential tour where you can experience calligraphy, create your own work, and even get professional work. The venue will be a rental conference room near Higashi Ginza Station.

We were 3 couples wanting to get real experiences about Japan, and I think this would also be great for families. This calligraphy class was superbly designed and delivered and we all felt it had been a 5-Star experience! All materials were provided and the location was easy to find and an excellent environment to try this activity. Our three guides were so friendly and helpful it made a lovely environment in which to experiment and produce our work.

During this experience, you will receive a lecture on Japanese swords, learn kata (cutting techniques), practice sparring, test-fire a bow and arrow, and try slashing with a mock sword. During the test-slash, you will slash multiple targets while moving with the mock sword. Slashing while moving is extremely difficult. Please experience the difficulty for yourself! Your instructor will be Yoshioki Sumida, assistant instructor of the All Japan Toyama-ryu Iaido Federation. With over 27 years of experience, he has taught at overseas branches in the United States, Europe, and Hong Kong. He is one of the very few instructors in the world who has deeply mastered and continues to pass on both kenjutsu and yabusame. It's 100% worth the money and not a tourist trap. The instructor, Sumida Sensei, was very patient and carefully taught me how to handle a katana. In the end, the improvement was visible. I started as a newbie, and at the end of the class, I was able to cut a tatami mat, bringing me a great sense of achievement. Really is worth a try!
