It's interesting how different it is. The second half, from August 3rd to October 27th, is a popular theater performance by Shitamachi Kabuki-gumi. The Meiji era playhouse ``Korakukan'' was built in 1910 as a welfare facility for Kosaka Mine employees. The outside of the building is Western-style, but the inside is a purely Japanese-style playhouse. The most distinctive feature is the combination of Japanese and Western styles, which is rare among playhouses. A staff member wearing a Kuroko costume will guide you through the tour of Korakukan's facilities. Enjoy an eye-opening behind-the-scenes look at a living playhouse!
