After stripping the bark from the tree, Uetsu Shina cloth is made entirely by hand, going through 22 processes over 365 days. The experience of using this precious Shina is unique to this area. Because each strand is a natural fiber with a different expression, it can be made into unique and attractive charms and earrings. It is also nice that the venue is the footbath cafe Chitto Moche, within walking distance of the inn at Atsumi Onsen. After making it, enjoy a relaxing tea time. Because I use my former schoolhouse as an atelier and gallery experience field, it is unrelated to new and useful things, In the garden sheep are eating grass, I think that you can have a calm time in a nostalgic place somewhere nostalgic. 元学校だったという広々としたところで、ゆったりと羊毛フエルトでのぬいぐるみ作りを教えていただきました。 8歳の娘も集中して作ることが出来、ぬいぐるみ作りが終わったあともたくさんいるひつじさん達を見て家族でとても癒されました。ぬいぐるみを作りながらひつじのいろいろなことも教えていただき、自然の中でとっても楽しい時間を過ごすことができました！またぜひ伺いたいと思います。

"Yaeyama Minsa" is a textile made of cotton, plain weave, and produced in Ishigaki City and Taketomi Town. The biggest feature is that the five and four kasuri patterns embody the idea of ``Forever and ever, until the end of the five (five) worlds (four).'' Yaeyama Minsa-ori goes through many processes to create a single piece of fabric, but just like in the past, many of these processes are done by hand with great care. At the Minsa Crafts Museum, customers can actually experience ``weaving'', one of the processes of Yaeyama Minsa weaving, for themselves. Our instructors will provide direct and detailed guidance, so even beginners can enjoy the experience with confidence.

最終日に利用しました。先生が丁寧に教えてくださり、9歳、11歳の子供も1人で織ることが出来ました。作品の受取は郵送でお願いしたので、帰宅後から、子供達がわくわく待っております。形に残る思い出の物が出来て良かったです。受付から体験まで、とてもスムーズでした。天候の影響もなく、良い体験でした。

1人でみんさー織りに参加しました。他の参加者もいなく貸切状態織りの説明を受けていざ…思いの外難しく緩くすると弛んで、キツくすると幅がおかしくなってと四苦八苦しました。先生は始終褒めてくださいましたので最後まで織れました。今回はテーブルセンターの小でしたが大に挑戦してみたいなぁと思いました。とても良い経験になりました

コースターを作りたいと相談をして、こちらのプランで申込みしてくださいとのことでコースター作りを体験させて頂きました。子供だったり時間だったりで臨機応変に対応してくれる作家さんでした。いろいろな話も聞けてとても充実した時間とコースターのプレゼントを作らせて頂きました。作家さんが作った作品かと思うような物ができ、大変満足しました。プレゼントされた方も本当に自分で作ったの？と信じてもらえなかったそうです。とても魅力的で話しやすい作家さんにまた会いに行きたいです！
