Kintsugi is a repair technique in which cracks, chips, and other damaged parts of ceramics are glued together with lacquer and decorated with gold and other metal powder. It is also called Kintsukuroi. At our salon, we use simple lacquer instead of real lacquer, and we finish at a reasonable price. Tableware that holds a special meaning can be revived by Kintsugi, and upgraded by applying gold. We accept lessons and orders. Rakugo is a traditional Japanese comedy art form unparalleled anywhere in the world, where the performer plays multiple roles while seated, without the use of any stage equipment, and with only small props such as hand towels and folding fans.
