日本とサムライが大好きなドイツから観光に来ていた友人に楽しんでもらって良い思い出を…と思いお伺いしましたが、先生も温かくフレンドリーに接して下さり、とても丁寧に教えて頂き良かったです。安全に切り合うための間合いや太刀筋、刀裁きを教えて頂きながらやるので、チャンバラ好きな子どもには、ぜひ体験してもらって安全にチャンバラごっこで遊んでほしいなぁ…とも思いました。もちろん、ドイツの友人は大喜びで、日本が好きなあまりに浴衣や足袋や刀まで持っていたり、時代劇も観ているので、教えて頂いても吸収が早く、先生が「ふつうは初心者にはここまでやらないんですが…」と、いろいろな殺陣をやらせてくださり、本当にサービス精神の旺盛な有難く、とっても楽しい体験をさせて頂きました。本当にとっても優しく語りかけて下さり、教えて下さるのですが、ひとたび演技に入ると眼光も変わり、刀が空気を切る音が素晴らしかったです。本日は、本当にありがとうございました。

Swordsmen who trained in Tennen Rishin-ryu in Hino formed the Shinsengumi, known as the strongest group of swordsmen at the end of the Edo period, and were called the Last Samurai. By experiencing swordsmanship in Hino, the hometown of the Shinsengumi, you can feel the history and culture of the Last Samurai. The experience program is led by Masao Inoue, a descendant of Shinsengumi leader Genzaburo Inoue and chairman of the Tennen Rishin-ryu Hino Dojo. Not only can you learn the basics of Tennen Rishin-ryu swordsmanship with a wooden sword, but you can also actually use a Japanese sword, which is said to be the soul of the samurai. 連れ（見学のみ）と一緒に参加しましたが、色々と丁寧に教えて頂きました。入るまではちょっと緊張していましたが、優しく接して緊張もほぐれました。まさか、真剣の試し切りが出来るとは思わず、大興奮でした！短い時間でしたが、指導の甲斐あって、スパッと畳（を丸めたもの？）を切ることが出来ました。また、天然理心流の流派を垣間見ることが出来るので、新選組好きのも楽しめます。興味のある方は是非ご参加ください。写真を撮る時間もいただき、師範二人と写真もしっかり撮ることができました。
