We have a wide variety of haori, including plain ensemble kimonos, striped, rippled, and latticed patterns. You can mix and match them freely. Men can create their own fashion, just like women. Plan description When a man wears a kimono, he looks even more dignified. By tying the obi, the lower body tightens, and the back naturally straightens, improving posture. At Asakusa Aiwafuku, we are particular about how to dress in a masculine kimono so that men can wear it in the most stylish way in Asakusa. There are two points to keep in mind for this. 1. The length of a man's kimono The beauty of a man's kimono is determined by its length. It is said that a stylish kimono should be "long enough that the hem just covers the ankles when the obi is tied." We have a wide selection of men's kimono sizes, from S, M, L, 2L, 3L, 4L, and 5L. It can also be worn by people with a sturdy build, such as rugby players, who are over 180 cm tall. We also accommodate small people who are 150 cm tall. 2. Stand out from the crowd with a men's haori. (We cannot rent haori in the summer because we provide yukata.) Men's haori looks twice as cool when combined with a kimono. Asakusa Aiwafuku has a wide selection of patterned haori, which is very popular among fashion-conscious people. ★We offer a yukata rental experience for a limited time from mid-June to mid-September. Hinohara Village is the only village on land in Tokyo. Deep inside the village, on a ridge well over 700m above sea level, lies the old house "Kyu Kobayashi Family Residence". Built in the mid-Edo period (more than 320 years ago), this mountain house is literally an "old house in the sky". This tour, which takes you there by mountain monorail that goes straight up a super steep slope of nearly 45 degrees, is an extremely extraordinary experience that will leave a deep impression on your memory, both geographically and historically, as well as physically. The tour meets at the Tokyo Back Mountain Base in front of JR Musashi-Itsukaichi Station, and includes transportation to the site by private car. *Hinohara Village has been designated as a national ecotourism promotion area, and as an exception, transportation to the ecotour site by car is permitted. (Your accompanying guide, Jinken, is a certified eco-tour guide for Hinode Village.) For lunch, you will be served at the Kobayashi Family House, with a lunchbox of light snacks (Cuban sandwiches) made specially for the Tokyo Urayama Base, and coffee brewed with water that participants themselves will have drawn from a special spring in the area. After experiencing the old mountain house, we will move on to another highlight of the day. We will stop at Kanoto Rock, a power spot known only to those in the know, and walk along the valley using chains. Here, too, you can experience a part of the local mountain worship and lifestyle culture. On the way back, we will cross a suspension bridge over the valley just beyond the Akigawa River from the village and enjoy a foot bath at a popular local hot spring. Once your feet are warm, we will head to a local cafe renovated from an old house, recommended by our guide (Jinken). We will take a break at CAFE POUND, the most popular cafe in the area, renovated from a Showa-era house by the owner himself. A private car will pick you up from the station, and you will be accompanied by a Hinode Village certified eco-tour guide. It will be a very fulfilling day where you can experience the lifestyle and culture of a mountain village. This is a premium tour with a capacity of only 6 people. "Ise Katagami" is used for dyeing kimonos. It is a traditional craft technique that has been passed down in Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture for over a thousand years. ``Ise Katagami'' is made by a craftsman called a katagami, who uses a chisel to carve intricate patterns and designs onto durable Japanese paper. It is surprising that more than 900 patterns are carved into a single inch (approximately 3cm) corner using a very fine piece of material. This time, we will be dyeing postcards using a pattern carved by Chiaki Imazaka, a traditional craftsman. Why not dye it in your favorite color, create an original postcard, and send it to your loved ones with a message? We also have 6 different designs of this year's zodiac signs, ``Dragon'' and ``Seahorse.'' We recommend sending it to a loved one or to yourself as a memento of your trip to Tokyo.

"Ise Katagami" is made by a craftsman called a stencil carver who carves intricate patterns and designs on durable Japanese paper with a carving knife. It is surprising that more than 900 patterns are carved into a one-inch square (about 3 cm) with fine details. Try it out and experience its delicacy and beauty. You can choose the cloth to be dyed from handkerchiefs, tea mats, and coasters.
