Plaster shisa were the pioneers of shisa spread to Okinawan homes ♪ All shisa are formed only from the material without using heartwood. Large plaster shisa requires considerable skill. [Unglazed shisa] (special clay for indoor use) ・Small size ¥2,970 ☆ Special clay is used. Since it is a material that is not fired, it can only be displayed indoors. Each one is completely handmade! We use the same clay as the take-home Shisa experience☆【Ceramic Shisa】・Small size ￥2,970☆We use Okinawan red clay. After forming, it is dried naturally for about 20 days, and then fired in a kiln at 1,200℃ for two days. Since it is baked, it can be placed outside. Enjoy a sushi-making experience tour at the Makishi Public Market, a tourist attraction near Kokusai Street in Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture. Visit the market where Okinawan fresh fish that will become the "toppings" of sushi are purchased, and learn how to make sushi from the instructor.
