The National Treasure Nageire Hall, located on Mt. Mitoku in Misasa Town, Tottori Prefecture, is said to be the most dangerous national treasure in Japan. Let's walk along the Shugendo path to Nageire-do, surrounded by a forest of autumn leaves, and go to worship. You can view Nageire-do from the distance worship place from the foot of the mountain, but let's walk Shugendo with all our heart and soul, purify ourselves of the impurities of the six roots, and visit Nageire-do up close. To visit Nageire-do up close, it is a short distance, but it involves walking along the steep Shugendo path, which involves climbing tree roots, climbing chains, and climbing rocky mountains. You will have to go back and forth on the same route, but descending the mountain is also dangerous. Also, only two or more people can enter the mountain, so if you are traveling alone, you will need to go with someone. In order to protect the natural environment and maintain Shugendo, it is not possible to enter using walking sticks such as trekking poles. By having a local guide accompany you through the difficult and dangerous Shugendo experience, you can experience Shugendo safely and with peace of mind. Please use it as a travel companion for those who are unable to go alone, or as a companion for Shugendo.
