We will provide electric bicycles. You can easily run on hills and long distances. Experienced guides will take you through back roads and unknown history unique to cycling. This is a tour that explores the history and culture of Haebaru, the only town in Okinawa that does not face the coast, and the stories of two people who make Okinawa proud to the world. ~Experience flow~ ①Meet and receive Reception at E-Charity Naha Kokusai-dori main storePick up an electric bicycle and have a simple briefing session where anyone can ride it safely and happily! ②Tour start/You can see Kannon Bodhisattva, the guardian deity of the Shuri Ryukyu Kingdom, as well as beautiful carvings and ornaments. You can look down on the cityscape of Shuri from the bright vermilion temple. You will pass through the local area of Naha where several traditional houses remain. When you arrive at the temple, which has been practicing Okinawan Buddhism for over 500 years, you will be greeted by an ancient gate and a large banyan tree. This is an impressive gate that symbolizes Okinawa. You can take a photo with your bicycle in front of the gate, which has an eye-catching vermilion color and well-balanced design. The temple is visited by many pilgrims who make pilgrimages to pray for good health, pregnancy, and other blessings for their current life, and the beauty of the bright red Daruma doll and torii gate captivates their eyes. Crossing the main road and passing through the monorail that runs through the air, you will suddenly arrive at a temple with a sacred atmosphere. Rebuilt after the war, an ancient Japanese Jizo statue stands in a warm atmosphere next to a relatively new building. As you enter the nostalgic road that can only be accessed by bicycle, the scent of rice malt wafts through the air. Surrounded by stone walls that remained intact during the war, the tiled factory will make you feel as if you have traveled back in time. This is a miraculous spring water that was discovered from deep in the forest after noticing that waterfowl were gathering there. You can feel the history in the water that continues to flow. ③ Omoromachi This site, which was the site of a fierce battle, was at the time a small hill with a view of the Kerama Islands, but now it is surrounded by buildings and condominiums and is quietly passed down the history of the war. It feels like a fusion of the present and the past. ④ Go down the hill comfortably on the Asato bicycle. The place where successive kings of the Ryukyu Kingdom were enshrined has a clean air. Although it is now a park, the stone gate and the banyan tree that stretches straight toward the sky give you the impression that this was once part of a single country, the Ryukyu Kingdom. ⑤ Return the bicycle and the tour will end. Afterwards, enjoy the city of Naha on your own.
