Plan description

Pearls are Japanese jewelry that attracts attention from all over the world. Kobe is home to many pearl processing workshops, and you can experience gold leafing pearls and tour the processing sites. The experience location is on board the largest restaurant passenger ship in Japan, representing Kobe. After the experience, you can enjoy a cruise lunch.

Pearl gold leaf pasting experience and small seminar

Onboard the ship, we hold a small seminar where you can experience pearl gold leafing and learn about the history of pearls. In the pearl gold leaf application, participants will apply adhesive to pearls and then apply gold leaf by hand with a toothpick. You can make your own pearls by hand, making them one-of-a-kind. You can make the pearls into pendants and take them home. (Children can also try it out.) *Other accessories can be made as an option. *Accessories may be made off-board.

For lunch, we offer cruise lunch on Japan's largest restaurant passenger ship "Luminous Kobe 2" or "Concerto"

Lunch is a cruise lunch. You can enjoy a buffet style or course lunch. (*Contents may change depending on the ship and day) The cruise is a course where you can also see the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, also known as the Pearl Bridge, on Luminous. At the concerto, live music is performed and you can enjoy an elegant moment. *The ship you board will vary depending on the reservation date. Details will be provided at the time of reservation.

Walking around Kitano area and observing processing

After disembarking, we moved to the Kitano area and observed Indian pearl processing techniques. You can experience the processing technology up close while enjoying the atmosphere of Kobe. (We plan to use a taxi for transportation (included in the price)) *On days when the craftsman is absent, he may explain processing techniques while showing tools.
