Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture is an area that was strongly affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake. In this region, in the wake of the earthquake, the Reborn-Art Festival, a comprehensive festival of contemporary art, food, and music, was born. This festival brings together creators from all over the world to create art, pop-up restaurants, live music, and more. Artists convey Ishinomaki's rich nature and traditions, and the wisdom of its people, including the beautiful nature and scenery of Sanriku Fukko National Park, the rich food culture that grows off the coast of Mt. Kinka, one of the world's three largest fishing grounds, and the remains of the Great East Japan Earthquake. At the factory of "Takeda's Sasa Kamaboko" in Shiogama City, Miyagi Prefecture, everyone will grill the skewered Sasa Kamaboko. Enjoy freshly baked sasa-kamaboko that you can't taste at home! It takes about 15 minutes. Comes with an assortment of mini bamboo baskets as a souvenir!

Experience the procurement of ingredients at the famous local restaurant, Takigawa in Ishinomaki, and the cooking experience of the traditional Ishinomaki food, Kamameshi. Beginning with a tour of the Ishinomaki market, you will be able to select your favorite ingredients in season while connoisseuring with the master of the restaurant at the local fresh fish counter. You will experience the processing and cooking of the ingredients, and then you will actually eat. The dishes are Ishinomaki's traditional food, such as "Kamameshi", miso soup, steamed tea bowl, and ozuzuke.

体験前、質問に対してはすべてお答えいただいたのですが、一問一答といった感じで、体験内容を全くイメージ出来ていない私たちにとっては情報が少なかったこと、休憩が長くて身体が冷えたこと、体験後すべての写真を共有してくれなかったこと(SNSにももらってない写真を共有しているわけでもないく、頼まなければ送ってくれない)、など、気遣い・親切の点で惜しいアクティビティでした。また、体験後に入浴出来るのであれば持ち物に入浴セット、との記載もした方がいいと思います。 体験の内容は楽しかったのですが要所要所残念だったので、改善されればまた機会があれば別なアクティビティも参加を検討したいです。
