Myself and a friend went for a tea ceremony at Nobata. There isn’t much information on the website so we weren’t sure what to expect. But it was a private casual ceremony where we watched the master, are some sweets and then were taught to make our own matcha. The hosts were lovely and the kind lady spoke English so we were able to have a conversation and understand what was going on. The shop is also great to look at, and full of beautiful pieces.

It's a very healing sound ~ ☆ Trivia ☆ The beginning of Matcha was brought back by Eisai Zen Master when he went to China to study Zen Buddhism at the end of the 12th century. It is said to be tea fruit and Yagen, and was used to make medicine. Tea was also a medicine, so I still recommend "How about a cup of tea?" ☆ Plan contents ☆ Nanao's specialty "soybean candy" + matcha ¥ 500 How about taking a break? !!
