This is a tour that allows you to get a feel for Yokohama and make it a memorable trip, rather than visiting each famous spot quickly. At the time of Perry's arrival, Yokohama was a small, semi-fishing, semi-farming town of 100 households, but it has developed as a gateway to foreign countries and is now the largest city in Japan. The Minato Mirai area continues to evolve as a tourist destination, including the Red Brick Warehouse, Zou-no-hana Park, Hammerhead, and Air Cabin. As for food, there are many products that originated in Yokohama, such as bread, gyu-nabe, ice cream, and Neapolitan, and there are many shops that have been in business for over 100 years. Above all, the world's largest Chinatown highlights Yokohama's unique character. Yamashita Park, Nihon Odori, and Minato Mirai have also become filming locations for TV and movies. Therefore, people of all generations feel some kind of familiarity with Yokohama.

We will mainly visit filming locations for TV dramas. Please enjoy the scenery and gourmet food of Yokohama! When walking around Yokohama, I often come across scenery that makes me want to take pictures. Even though I have lived in Yokohama for 30 years, I still feel that way. The scenery not only changes depending on the season, but also during the day under the piercing blue sky, and the scenery at sunset changing from yellow to orange to deep blue. New buildings are being built one after another, while some buildings reminiscent of the Meiji era remain. Yokohama has many spots that are perfect as the backdrop for dramas and movies with various themes. Get closer to the drama by visiting the filming locations of recent TV dramas. I also think it's fun to use your imagination and think about how you might use this scenery as the background for a drama like this. Since it is the place where bread, ice cream, tonkatsu, and Neapolitan were first introduced to Japan, you can enjoy the traditional flavors that have been passed down through generations, and enjoy eating while walking around Japan's largest Chinatown. You can feel the splendor of Yokohama not only with your eyes but also with your tongue. We will mainly visit filming locations, but if there are any places or gourmet foods you would like to visit, we will listen to them and create the best tour for you.

[Limited tour at a national cultural property that is not open to the public] Enjoy a special tour at the former Brewing Research Institute First Factory (Red Brick Sake Brewery), a national cultural property that is normally closed to the public, and enjoy sake manufacturing. Learn about the history of modernization. [Special tour of the Red Brick Sake Brewery] You can tour the Red Brick Sake Brewery and feel the depth of its history. Among them is the ``Hyakunen Sake Brewery Project,'' a project that aims to age sake for decades. The Red Brick Sake Brewery in Oji, Tokyo, was built in 1904 as part of the newly established Sake Brewing Research Institute, a facility where cutting-edge technology was used to support the modernization and evolution of sake production. It is the only place in Japan where technical development and training related to sake production have been held for 120 years, and it is considered the ``sacred place for sake brewing'' because people who aspire to become sake brewers learned here. After that, the research institute was moved outside of Tokyo, but the symbolic red brick sake brewery remained and was designated as a national cultural property in 2014. Since it is not normally open to the public, it remains a hidden gem of Tokyo. [Limited to this tour! Tasting of specially made new sake with commentary from the toji] (*) A toji is a person in charge of sake brewing at a sake brewery. A person with the qualifications of Touji and Kikisakeshi (Japanese sake sommelier) will introduce you to the best sake. All of this takes place in the atmospheric old koji room inside the Red Brick Sake Brewery. This was probably the best workshop we attended during our Japan trip! Very good Calligraphy explanations, the instructor is highly professional, and really takes time to demonstrate in great detail! So the Calligraphy class in itself it was already an amazing experience. However, afterwards you go to see the Tokyo Great Buddha (and museums & gardens) and can experience Japanese culture with interesting conversations and information about the surrounding area. Both instructors are very kind, very passionate and just pleasant people in general :)
