Plan description

In a small conference room, you will experience the basic techniques of calligraphy under the guidance of an instructor. You will finish by creating 1-2 pieces of work that you can display at home. After the calligraphy experience, you will walk around Oyama Shopping Street, which is 1.2 km long and has over 300 shops and restaurants, and have lunch. Transfer to the train and bus to the Akatsuka area. You will visit the Tokyo Great Buddha, Akatsuka Fudo Waterfall, Akatsuka Botanical Garden, Itabashi Museum of Art, Akatsuka Castle Ruins, and Itabashi Local Museum.

Calligraphy inexperienced people are also welcome. This is a private tour.

We will provide all the tools. If you can remember the basic brush strokes, you can create your work immediately. The instructor is a master of the Japan Educational Calligraphy Federation, and you can enjoy making works. It's a private tour, so you don't have to worry about other participants. (Only one group is supported.)

You can create a work that can be displayed in your room.

You can make a memorable work that can be displayed in your home. You can freely choose the characters you want to make into your work.

After lunch in the local shopping district, you will have an exciting local sightseeing tour.

After the calligraphy class, you will take a stroll through the 1.2km Oyama Shopping Arcade, which is not well known among locals. You will experience the local atmosphere with many famous ramen shops, incredibly cheap Italian restaurants, Japanese sweet shops, and general stores. After that, you will have a tour of Tokyo Great Buddha, Akatsuka Fudo Falls, Akatsuka Botanical Garden, Itabashi Museum of Art, Akatsuka Castle Ruins, and Itabashi Local History Museum.

Assembly point

You can pick up at the hotel lobby in the 23 wards of Tokyo from the south exit of Oyama Station (TJ4) on the Tobu Tojo Line. However, since we do not have a passenger transfer license, we will use public transportation and ask you to bear the fare.

If you arrive by car

Not possible due to lack of parking.

From Tobu Tojo Line "Oyama Station" south exit Ikebukuro, take the third stop at each station, about 5 minutes.
