"Hidden Christian Sites in Nagasaki and Amakusa Region" registered as a World Heritage Site in July 2018. Most of them are remote islands, but there is only one area in Nagasaki that can be reached by car. It is the Sotome area located on the border with Saikai City in the northern part of the prefecture. While escaping to Amakusa and Goto in the distance, the area that became the root of "hidden" is "Sotome". It is also the place where Shusaku Endo's book "Silence" was set. The "Hidden Christian Cultural Museum" and "Karematsu Shrine", which are important for learning about the history of Hidden Christians, are included in the course, and finally, by visiting the Endo Shusaku Literary Museum, you can go through the history of Hidden Christians step by step. I will continue. It is a one-day course that goes through the history of hidden Christians for 250 years.

There will be no tour conductor or guide, and you will travel on your own. On May 15, 2024, the Mt. Aso eruption alert level was raised to 2, and as a result, it is no longer possible to visit the Mt. Aso crater. The reopening date has not yet been decided. The Mt. Aso Terminal is open as usual. Please stop by as there are souvenirs and Kumamon goods that can only be purchased there. Go directly from the center of Kumamoto to Aso! This plan allows you to visit the spectacular spot "Kusasenri", which is a must-visit if you visit Aso, and the world's largest caldera, "Aso Nakadake Crater". Kusasenri is a great location where you can see the smoke rising from Nakadake. You can also enjoy "Akagyu Hamburger" at a restaurant with a spectacular view of Kusasenri. *The fare for the Mt. This is a convenient plan for sightseeing in Aso, which can be boarded from Kumamoto Airport, Station, Sakuramachi Bus Terminal, and other major entrances to Kumamoto. Stop by the world's largest caldera, "Aso Nakadake Crater," and Aso Farmland, which was produced by health experts. Experience the nature of Aso with your whole body. [About Crater Tour] Important notice for participating customers: On May 15, 2024, the eruption alert level of Mt. Aso was raised to 2, and as a result, it is no longer possible to tour the crater of Mt. Aso. The resumption of the tour has not yet been decided. In the plan you have booked, you will have about 90 minutes of free time at the Aso Mountain Terminal to visit the crater and shop. The Aso Mountain Terminal is open as usual, and there are souvenirs and Kumamon goods that can only be purchased there. However, there is a possibility that you will have extra time because you cannot visit the crater. This is a private canoe and SUP experience limited to one group, set at a dam lake in Misato Town, Miyazaki Prefecture. You can relax in a canoe built by craftsmen using a 100-year-old construction method and design, or you can play in the water to your heart's content on a SUP, or you can enjoy both in your own way. The guide will give a detailed lecture on the calm surface of the water with almost no water flow, so even first-timers and families with small children can participate with confidence. Drinks and snacks will be provided during breaks along the way.
