Let's enjoy "SUP" at Lake Shima, which is attracting attention with its Shima blue color! Be healed by nature! Try relaxing! Be active! The guide will suggest and support various styles to suit the participants. SUP is a new water activity that has been attracting attention in recent years. Max offers still water tours of lakes and rivers for beginners. Of course, a guide will accompany you, so beginners don't have to worry. Learn the basics of riding a SUP in the still water of a lake or river, how to row using a paddle, and in the second half, you can go on a leisurely short tour while admiring the scenery, and do various other activities. Have fun playing! Recommended for those experiencing SUP for the first time! Please note that even if you are unable to experience it on the day, the fee cannot be refunded. *After understanding the safety explanation, you may be required to take care of yourself in case of falling into the water, so if you have a handicap, please contact us in advance.
SUP, also known as stand-up paddleboarding (surfing), was originally a sport enjoyed in the ocean that was born in Hawaii in the 1960s. In recent years, SUP boards have made it possible to enjoy not only the sea but also lakes and rivers. Some people enjoy yoga on SUP because of its high exercise effect. It's a great feeling to paddle yourself through the wilderness with a paddle.
All MAX staff are certified guides with rescue qualifications and extensive training. Beginners and those who are not good at swimming are safe because they wear life jackets with high buoyancy made for torrents. Of course, the tour is 100% fun! We are doing a tour with customer's safety first.

Shimako user parking lot (on the grounds of the former Nishi Junior High School): 45 minutes from the Kanetsu Expressway Shibukawa-Ikaho Interchange *Please register the address for the destination in your car navigation system
Get off at Nakanojo Station on the JR Agatsuma Line, then take the Kanetsu Kotsu Bus bound for Shima Onsen and walk 3 minutes from Sawaguchi bus stop.*This plan does not include a shuttle service.
If you are coming by bus from the Shima Onsen area, please take the bus bound for Nakanojo Station.
