Plan description

A half-day rafting tour packed into a single day! You can plan your trip before or after rafting. Morning session: 9:00-12:30 Afternoon session: 13:00-16:30 This tour is perfect for those who want to have plenty of time at the accommodation, those who want to take it easy in the morning, and those who have many places to go. The Natural Groove rafting course is characterized by the majestic scenery created by the wide river and the "snakes" that meander between the mountains. The meandering river is dotted with a good balance of rapids and pools where the flow is gentle, making it the perfect course for enjoying rafting on the Shimanto River. This popular half-day experience tour packs in all the charm of Shimanto River rafting. In addition to rafting and diving, you can also do river SUP (stand-up paddle) in the gentle current and have a snack break.

You can enjoy rafting in the rapids and try SUP in the gentler areas!! This is the only place on the Shimanto River where you can enjoy both rafting and river SUP!

It's located inside a campground, so you can have a bonfire or play in nature before or after activities, plus the toilets and showers are newly built and clean!!!

Natural Groove is located within the facilities of Mishima Campsite and is affiliated with the campsite. Guests who participate in the tour can use the shower rooms and toilets at the campsite. Mishima Campsite will reopen in the spring of 2024, becoming a cleaner, more comfortable place while still retaining its natural surroundings.

While taking a break on the riverbank, have a cafe time with Kochi's specialty "Imo Kenpi" and coffee.

We will be serving salted potato chips from Suisha-ya, a potato chip shop in Shimanto Town. You can choose from coffee, black tea, herbal tea, Shimanto green tea, and more. Choose and have a fun tea time!

Assembly point

We provide free transportation to the nearest station to NATURALGROOVR (Tosa Showa Station). We may be able to provide transportation to your accommodation (separate transportation costs apply). Please feel free to contact us. *For those coming from Shimanto City, Ashizuri, or Sukumo, navigation systems will often direct you to National Route 439. This is a very narrow and difficult road. Please be careful not to go through it. Please use National Route 441.
