We rent bicycles at Tsuchiura Station start our cycling tour!
This 6-hour tour takes you through beautiful countryside, rustic streets and sightseeing spots before returning to the Tsuchiura Station.
You will visit Tsuchiura Castle which has been selected as one of the greatest 100 castles of Japan, Inaba Sake Brewery, a trademark of Ibaraki Prefecture, and old traditional house-style cafes.

The 'Tsukuba Rin Rin Road' which was previously used for railway tracks, now allows you to enjoy safe and comfortable cycling.
Cherry trees are planted on both sides, and in spring the road transforms into beautiful cherry tree tunnel. Let 's enjoy cycling while watching the peaceful countryside and the beautiful mountain scenery of Tsukuba.
Built in early 15th century, the Tsuchiura Castle was badly damaged by earthquake in 2011. After being restored, the castle was added to the list of 100 castles of Japan in 2017.
The Oda castle was built by Hatta Tomoie and was residence of Oda Family from the Kamakura Period to the Sengoku Period. In the vicinity there is a history square and information desk, so you can learn the history of the Oda Castle.
Lunch time at "Kahn's Kitchen" with a wonderful view. You can enjoy a delicious lunch using homemade ingredients with a rustic view in a lush and calm atmosphere.
