Will our region, nicknamed ``Yamagata, the other side of the mountains,'' remain beautiful for decades or even hundreds of years to come? It's up to us who live here. How will we connect Yamagata, the region, and the next generation? What kind of baton will we pass on? Based on the belief that "nature is not something we inherited from our ancestors, but something we borrow from our descendants," in the spring of 2023, we, Iide Canoe Club, will be reborn as YAMAGATA EXPERIENCE, and will promote the charm of the region through activities. We will disseminate it globally!
This snowshoeing tour was one of the best things I did in Japan, even as a foreigner. All the guides I was with spoke very good English and were super knowledgeable and fun to talk to. They responded quickly to my queries about transport to Zao Liza World (which can be accessed by bus from Yamagata if well timed), and details about the experience. The equipment is high quality and very fun to learn to use. The scenery and waterfall is very impressive. Overall, value for money and fun is fantastic and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone travelling in Japan.

風もなくお天気にも恵まれて凄く楽しい一日となりました。本当に参加して良かった！
安全面でも凄く配慮されており、信頼できるキャップと、盛り上げ上手なジュンジさんのガイドで終始楽しめました。
リフトではストックを落とすという失態があり本当にご迷惑をおかけしましたが、冷静に対応頂き、他の参加の方に極力迷惑かけず、最後には見つけて頂きました。結局道中はジュンジさんのストックを貸して頂き、優しいご対応に感謝です。
写真も沢山撮って頂け、楽しい思い出が沢山できました。

仙人沢アイスガーデンというのを最近Instagramで知りました。実際に自分の目で見るとすごい迫力で圧倒されました。
ガイドさんが安全に誘導してくれてツアー参加者がチームとなって最後まで楽しめました。
お天気が良すぎて霧氷や樹氷が見れなくて残念。その代わり青空と白銀の景色を充分堪能できました。冬の恒例行事にしたいです。
