Yunoiri Pottery is located in "Shinano Town" on the border of Niigata Prefecture, at the northern end of Nagano Prefecture. The Kurohime Plateau and Lake Nojiri are famous. It is a 30-minute drive from Zenkoji Temple and a 45-minute drive to the Sea of Japan on a general road. It is a place rich in nature where you can enjoy winter sports and smelt fishing, with cool summers, delicious air, water and vegetables, new buckwheat noodles in autumn, and plenty of snow in winter. I started making pottery here in 1995. We are making works by focusing on Bizen ware style pottery.
A potter who loves nature. After working for a computer information processing company and a life insurance company, completed the Aichi Prefectural Ceramics College of Technology. Started making pottery in Shinano Town in 1995. Nagano Prefecture Nature Observation Instructor. Green tourism instructor. Member of Shinano Town Forest Therapy Study Group. Members of the Wild Bird Society of Japan, the Japanese Society for Preservation of Birds, and the Ornithological Society of Japan. Shinano Town Firefly Association Secretariat.
