Join this 2-hours experience and learn KYUDO, Japanese archery martial art.Don a traditional beautiful KYUDO uniform, channel your inner samurai. and challenge for the target!Usually when the beginner take up KYUDO in earnest, it takes several months of practice before they are allowed to actually shoot at a target.However, this class lets you go straight into action.But please understand that you are required to practice basic training for 1 hour and basic manners, before you shoot at a target.I will guide you through every step to help you hit the target.Not everyone can hit the target, even people who training over 10 years.There's more to kyudo than hitting the target; performing these fundamental movements correctly is also considered important.Caution: We have some facilities to deal with this experience, depend on the date.Then after reservation, please be careful. It can accommodate up to 10 people. In this lesson, you will be able to experience Iai, Gekiken (Kendo), and Batto (trial cutting). These three things together are called Kenjutsu. The name is honest. It’s not a tourist trap. This was a great way to experience the art of form, sparring, and cutting with katana. I couldn’t have asked for a more fun time. Sumida is energetic, clear, patient, and motivated to give you an excellent experience. When you arrive you’ll change into a kimono then receive a class on the history and design of katanas. You’ll then practice forms, spar with Sumida and the students, and end by cutting two types of tatami mats. Purchase the experience you won’t regret it.

Experience archery at a temple in Noshiro City at the foot of the Shirakami Mountains, a World Natural Heritage site. It is an experience that even beginners can do. After changing into a kimono, you will listen to an explanation of the history, spirit, and tools of kyudo at a quiet private dojo at Keisho-ji Temple near Noshiro's famous Kaze no Matsubara. After that, the instructor will carefully teach you how to do archery. The bow will be drawn while receiving advice for about an hour, and finally a competition will be held by all participants. The instructor is the chief priest of Keisho-ji Temple and a veteran with over 50 years of archery experience.
