The Ishikawa Prefectural Noh Theater will be hosting a "Winter Noh Evening," a casual performance where you can enjoy authentic Noh. A synopsis of the program and commentary on highlights will be provided, making it easy for even novices to understand. The price is also reasonable! Prior to the performance, a Noh experience (three sessions total) will be offered for attendees on the day (advance reservations required). The experience content varies depending on the date, so please check the Ishikawa Prefectural Noh Theater website for details before applying. Additionally, you can use the free subtitle commentary service "Noh Support." This service automatically displays lines and commentary (in Japanese and English) on your smartphone, making it ideal for noh beginners and foreign visitors.
