You can enjoy the experience of wearing armor at Shiroishi Castle in Shiroishi, Miyagi Prefecture. "Ashigaru-san" will dress you in authentic armor modeled after Date Masamune, Katakura Kojuro Kagetsuna, and Sanada Yukimura. This is special armor that you cannot wear normally. You will also wear a kosode, hakama, and tabi socks to wear underneath, and the tabi socks will be given to you as a commemorative gift after the experience. Shiroishi Castle is probably the only place where you can wear authentic armor inside a real castle. Why not try this "special experience that can only be had here"? ~Experience flow~① Gathering and experience explanation (5 minutes) We will carefully explain the flow of the experience. ② Dressing in armor (45 minutes) "Ashigaru-san" will dress you with all his heart. ③ Teaching how to draw the sword, how to stand, and how to act (10 minutes) We will teach you how to handle a sword while wearing armor. ④ Commemorative photo (20 minutes) You can take a commemorative photo with your own camera. ⑤ Undress and disband the armor Finally, you will undress the armor and the experience will end.
The armor we have prepared is that of Date Masamune, Katakura Kojuro, and Sanada Yukimura. We will provide you with authentic armor carefully crafted by Japanese craftsmen, and you will definitely become a feudal lord. The staff who will dress you in the armor will be in charge of dressing you in the armor, who have dressed 2,500 people as feudal lords so far.
The armor dressing will take place inside the castle tower of Shiroishi Castle. Shiroishi Castle has a long history dating back to the Middle Ages. Its restored appearance is truly impressive!
You can take a commemorative photo wearing armor and holding a sword. Create fun memories with your family, friends, or loved ones!
