Plan description

A SUP tour to the great torii gate of Shirahige Shrine, a photogenic spot for Biwako. We offer an extraordinary experience as you ride on a SUP over the beautiful, clear waters of Lake Kita, heading towards the great torii gate of Shirahige Shrine. Take a commemorative photo in front of the great torii gate. The great torii gate towering over the lake is very impressive! The water of the lake is clear and clean along the way, so you may encounter fish and turtles. Of course, our staff will gently support you so that even those who are new to SUP can participate with peace of mind. (If you are afraid of water, we will not force you to stand or force you to do so.) You can freely and enjoyably ride the SUP. Couples, families, and friends can participate. Groups such as companies and sports clubs are also welcome! Please feel free to contact us.

Assembly point

Ukawa Farm Mart <About pick-up> Please let us know in advance. (We may not be able to accommodate requests on the day.) We will travel by car from JR Omi-Takashima Station. Please arrive 40 minutes before the meeting time. When making a request, please also let us know the number of people you would like to be picked up.

If you arrive by car

Approximately 60 minutes from "Kyoto Higashi Interchange" on the Kosai Road, approximately 60 minutes from "Kinomoto Interchange" Parking: 10 spaces, Large buses: allowed Advance reservations required for large buses.

If you arrive by train

45 minutes by special rapid train from JR Kyoto Station, 30 minutes on foot from Omi-Takashima Station on the JR Kosei Line

If you arrive by other means of transportation

Selling points regarding safety

As a safety measure for activity tours, we require all participants to take out insurance, and based on the experience of our local staff, taking into account weather conditions and local characteristics, we decide whether to proceed with the tour the day before, and contact participants in the event of cancellation. We also have a rescue boat on Lake Biwa that will be deployed in the event of an emergency. For cycling tours, we have staff and mechanics who work in cycling tours in Shiga Prefecture, and we have a support system in place, such as a support car or sailing, depending on the distance.
