If you arrive by car

The underwater road is 43 km from Naha Airport, and it is approximately 45 km to Hamahiga Island. Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes via Okinawa Expressway. If you are using the expressway, take the train from the Tomigusuku/Nakachi IC near the airport and exit at the Okinawa Kita IC. Arrive at Kaichu Road Beach in about 35 minutes from Okinawa Kita IC. Large parking lot available (free): 300 spaces, large buses available. Shower changing room and toilet fully equipped (shower charge: 300 yen)
