Kobe Port Cruising is a popular way to enjoy the beautiful cityscape of Kobe from the sea. You can board the "Royal Princess" or "Atake Maru" at any time on the specified date. (On some days, only one ship operates.) Both ships are equipped with a spacious sky deck without a roof, and each ship has a different look every day, from day to day to sunset and night cruises. The Royal Princess is a two-story cruise ship that is one of the largest in Kansai. (Capacity: 500 passengers) The third floor is a sky deck without a roof, offering a 360° view of the Kobe cityscape with Mt. Rokko in the background. Additionally, you can see the impressive passage of the Kobe Ohashi Bridge on every Royal Princess flight. Kobe Ohashi is a double-deck red iron bridge that connects the port terminal and Port Island, the world's first artificial island. It is lit up at night, and has recently become a hot topic on social media as a spot where many customers can take spectacular and fantastic videos of Kobe from the sky deck on the third floor.

Plan attractions

Royal Princess This is one of the largest sightseeing boats in Kansai. It features a luxurious staircase in the center leading to the second floor seats and spacious guest rooms. The view of the Kobe Ohashi Bridge from the third-floor sky deck, which was newly built in March 2020, is impressive.

Gozabune Atakemaru The Gozabune Atakemaru is a ship modeled after the gigantic ship ``Atakemaru,'' which was built by order of the third Shogun of the Edo Shogunate, Lord Iemitsu. After completing its mission in Tokyo Bay in May 2021, it has been decided that the next stage will be sightseeing at Kobe Port. In 2017, it was renewed under the supervision of Eiji Mitooka. The interior of the ship is characterized by a design that combines modern, eastern and western styles like a mandala, with plenty of warm wood and curtains and noren curtains.
