You can enjoy the spectacular view from Mt. Tarumae, which is one of the most active volcanoes. Mt. Tarumae, which erupted in 1982, is one of the most active volcanoes in Japan. From this volcano at an altitude of 1042m, you can enjoy spectacular views of the coastline to the southeast and Lake Shikotsu to the north. This day hike takes you to the top of the volcano and around the caldera, giving you a variety of views. Enjoy a special experience that can only be found here.
