Plan description

The hiking course is on a frozen lake! Now you too can become a local resident of Japan's snow country! ? This is a special plan limited to 5 people each time, where you can experience the culture of Aizu, a snow country, while walking on a winter-only course. Local guides who are certified by the Japan Mountain Guide Association will guide you in English. (Of course, Japanese people are also welcome to participate.)

Enjoy easy hiking, playing in the snow, and photographing snowy landscapes using Kanjiki, a folk tool in snowy countries.

Kanjiki is a traditional folk tool for walking comfortably on deep snow.

Warm "amazake" made with rice from the Aizu region, served using snow dining chairs and the traditional craft "Aizu lacquerware."

The Aizu region is one of Japan's leading rice producing areas. Amazake is a drink made using this rice. Amazake is a non-alcoholic drink that has been popular in Japan for a long time and is so nutritious that it is sometimes referred to as ``drinkable drip.''

Cosplay photoshoot using the traditional folk tools of the snowy region, ``Mino'' and ``Kasa''

*Mino is an old rainwear. Few people make them anymore, and they are now so valuable that they are displayed in museums and archives. *Kasa is a traditional hat worn on the head to protect from snow and direct sunlight.
