A summer-only tour that explores the subtropical jungle by canoeing and trekking to the impressive Pinaisara Falls, the highest waterfall in Okinawa Prefecture, and in the afternoon, you can enjoy the great nature of Iriomote Island by canyoning down the river. Jump and swim in the Omisawa River, which is dotted with waterfalls, for a refreshing experience perfect for the hot summer. This tour includes lunch, which will make your body happy after playing to the fullest. For lunch, eat delicious Yaeyama soba in the great outdoors! Homemade snacks made with jam from fruits from Iriomote Island are included. Our tours are small-group tours with a maximum of 8 people! You will be guided by an owner-guide who is a qualified nature observation instructor and is knowledgeable about wild birds and creatures. This one-day tour is recommended for those looking for an experience that can only be had here. ~Experience flow~ 8:30-9:30 Pick up at your accommodation in Uehara Port or the eastern and western Sumiyoshi areas of Iriomote Island ↓ Please come dressed in clothes that will allow you to participate in the tour. 9:50 Warm-up exercises and a lecture on how to paddle a canoe ↓ We will do this carefully so that beginners and children can understand. 10:00 Mangrove canoe (estimated canoeing time is 30 to 45 minutes for adults) ↓ 10:40 Jungle trekking ↓ We will proceed through the jungle to the waterfall basin. Look for lizards and various creatures! (estimated trekking time is 15 to 20 minutes for adults) 11:10 Arrive at the waterfall basin! Play in the water, rest, and lunch time ↓ Rest and lunch at the waterfall basin. Swim and play in the waterfall basin in a natural pool except during the cold season! For lunch, we have handmade soki and freshly made Yaeyama soba noodles with dashi stock. It's great to eat in the great outdoors ♪ *In bad weather, we will return and eat at the observation deck. 12:15 Trek the way we came → Return by canoe. ↓14:00 Canyoning ↓16:00-17:00 Drop off at accommodation in Uehara Port or the western Sumiyoshi area to the eastern area

Enjoy this World Heritage Site to the fullest with these four experiences!

●Morning (Mangrove canoeing & trekking & waterfall pool play towards Pinaisara Falls) Let's canoe while looking at the mangroves towards the impressive Pinaisara Falls, which boasts the highest drop in Okinawa Prefecture! The plate-like roots of the Sakishimasu no Oonoki tree that can be seen when you get off the canoe and go through the jungle are also worth seeing♪ On hot days, playing in the waterfall pool is also fun♪●Afternoon (canyoning) It is an exhilarating activity perfect for Okinawa's hot summer, where you can get hit headfirst by the waterfall, jump into the river, swim downstream and let yourself go with the flow. The Omisawa River, which flows through the northeastern part of Iriomote Island, is dotted with several waterfalls that flow vigorously from the upstream, and the water is so clear that you can see the river bottom when it is not raining. There are many fish such as gobies, yugoi, and crayfish, and you can sometimes encounter eels. *If you give up because the water is too cold or you cut short the whole process due to time constraints, the entire process will take 60 minutes (there is an escape route along the way), but if you complete all steps, it will take about 90 minutes.

Enjoy a delicious lunch and homemade snacks in the great outdoors!

"We want you to have a special mealtime while traveling!" With that thought in mind, we are proud to offer carefully prepared lunches and snacks during the tour! We have prepared lunches and snacks that are as "Iriomote Island-like" as possible, using ingredients "from Iriomote Island" as much as possible! "Yaeyama soba" with a fragrant dashi broth is the best when eaten in the middle of nature! For snacks, we have a very popular cake containing fruits from Iriomote Island♪

You can observe wildlife with a guide who is knowledgeable about living creatures, and you will receive photo data from the tour as a gift!

Our guide, who is also a researcher for the Iriomote Island Wild Bird Research Society and a certified nature observation instructor, will guide you while giving detailed explanations about the jungle's creatures! All photos taken during the tour will be shared on Google Drive on the same day!
