Plan description

Speaking of river activities, rafting is a popular outdoor sport where you row down a natural river in an 8-person rubber boat. Each boat is accompanied by a guide who will support you and steer the boat to the goal. ☆Rustica's standard rafting course uses the Isawa River course in Oshu City, Iwate Prefecture, where you can enjoy rapids even in summer, which is rare in eastern Japan where the water level of many rivers drops in summer. It is equivalent to other companies' long courses. It's exciting and thrilling, let's row down the rapids while being covered in clean, cool water! ☆Rustica's rafting tour is all-inclusive! [Free photo data] We will give you free photo data taken by the guide and photographer during the tour. [Full free rental equipment] We will lend you a full range of equipment that has been cleaned and dried, so you can enjoy playing in the water comfortably from spring to autumn, for free. Let's have fun to the fullest in the nature of Tohoku!

All tours are guided by a qualified rafting guide. We use a course where you can enjoy whitewater rafting even during Obon and summer, which is rare in eastern Japan!

In Oshu City, located in the southern part of Iwate Prefecture, we will be rafting in the cool and beautiful torrent flowing from the Yakesi Mountain Range. Rustica is a member of the Rafting Association, and all guides hold rafting guide licenses. Overcome the rapids with our qualified staff!

Memories of the trip will remain. During the tour, the guide will take a picture of you with a dedicated waterproof camera and give you the data for free! Don't worry, "I'm worried about bringing my precious camera to the water's edge ..."!

We will provide you with photo data for free. Please take home your memories as they are.

We will lend you all the specialized equipment for free!

We will lend you all the specialized equipment you think you will need for rafting! We will lend you a life jacket (PFD), helmet, paddle, paddling suit, water shoes, and wet suit depending on the temperature. Selling points regarding safety

Rustica is a member of the Rafting Association and adheres to the safety regulations set out in the Association's guidelines. All of Rustica's guides are certified river guides by the Rafting Association, and uncertified guides will not guide. All guides have taken first aid courses such as standard lifesaving, MFA, and WFA. Many of our guides have taken Rescue 3 Swiftwater Rescue Technician and other qualifications for rescue in flowing waters. We strive to make our tours safer through daily meetings, course inspections, maintenance, and guide training. We do our utmost to ensure a safe tour, but in the unlikely event of an accident, we are covered by "injury insurance" and "liability insurance" in the "canoe/rafting" category for all tours in order to be responsible to our customers.
