[Nagano, Omachi City Snowshoeing] Enjoy the beauty of the foothills of the Northern Alps, only seen in winter! One-day course. Ages 8 and up.

For those who prefer to explore and experience the beauty of the mountains over adventure, this trekking/hiking experience is available on snowshoes or snowshoes. We offer four courses. In April, we offer additional courses in addition to the standard ones in search of snow. In addition to walking, we also offer coffee breaks where you can make tables and chairs out of snow. We offer snow sculptures (snowmen), sliding down snowy slopes, and nature observation. We also offer forest and tree observation, as well as animal tracks and droppings. (This may not be possible depending on the weather and location.) Please let us know if you would like to observe Japanese serows or other wildlife. We also offer nature observation training experiences for students during the snowy season. Groups of eight or more people must contact us two weeks in advance. Repeat visitors will be guided to a different location from their previous visit (subject to conditions). When booking, please indicate whether you are a beginner, have done it several times before, or have done it every year. We will guide you to the most suitable location (a location suited to your physical condition, a view on a clear day, or a safe forest area in a blizzard). Repeat customers (individual customers who have experienced the activity one or two years ago) will receive a small gift on the day of the experience. Please contact us. Lunch is required for the one-day snowshoe/snowshoe hike. Depending on the course, weather, and number of participants, the local guide may or may not be able to prepare lunch. The local guide will contact the person who made the reservation at least a few days in advance, and we will discuss the details at that time. Examples of lunch: Oden hotpot, etc. Please note that we may not be able to provide guides or accompanying interpreters in English, Chinese, or Spanish, so please contact us in advance.

All courses allow you to enjoy nature. As you walk over time, the nature you reach and the view from the top of the mountain will make you feel special.

You can enjoy a one-day course of about 5 hours, such as the view of Lake Aoki from the summit of Mt. Gongen, the wetland designated as a natural monument, the city of Omachi and the Northern Alps from the summit observatory.

Snowshoes and snowshoes are tools for walking on the snow that even beginners can easily use. If you are confident in your physical strength, you can enjoy it from children to the elderly. You can walk, see, feel, and walk around with your own feet, so you will be able to quickly notice and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery.
