Plan description

Let's make a shawl in bright natural colors. You can enjoy dyeing using Okinawan natural materials (plants, soil) and Indian indigo! Let's dye a shawl with natural materials and have fun dyeing it in various shades! Create your own original work! The instructor will provide detailed support on the day. Even if it is your first time experiencing dyeing, you can participate with confidence. You can take your completed work home on the same day, making it the perfect souvenir from your trip to Okinawa.

Experience dyeing in Nakijin Village, Okinawa! Let's dye with vivid colors derived from nature!

Most of the materials used for dyeing are natural plants such as plants that grow naturally in Okinawa, Indian indigo plants, and local soil. "Thread" and "cloth" that color our lives and wrap us in various forms from clothes to interiors. We have succeeded in developing new threads from Okinawan plants such as hibiscus and okra. We also exhibit and sell original works such as cute cloths from Nakijin Village. When you come to the workshop, please take a look.
