It has a head of 3 to 4 meters, but a waterfall of Sangara, about 20 meters wide, is a hidden scenic spot on Iriomote Island. There are few visitors, and you can enjoy watering in the waterfall and explore the back of the waterfall. In the mangrove Kayak Go rowing (canoeing) and trek the jungle. Along the way, I am attracted to various subtropical creatures and plants. Even beginners and children are OK. Ishigaki island You can also take a day trip from here.
Among the many waterfalls on Iriomote Island, Sangara Waterfall is a hidden attraction that is not well known. The head is 3-4m, but the width is about 20m and you can go behind the waterfall. At the waterfall, which is rarely visited and the water flow is gentle, children spend their time exploring the back of the waterfall, playing in the water, practicing by being hit by the waterfall, and so on. You will feel a comfortable healing with the gentle sound of falling water and the spray of water.
You can canoe to the Sangara Waterfall for about 50 minutes on the mangrove forest and trek for about 20 minutes in the jungle. It's a rather gentle process, so even beginners can feel free to participate. Of course, the staff will give a polite lecture, so you will be able to get the hang of it. Mangrove forests on subtropical rivers that look different from ordinary Japanese rivers. Jungle trekking. I feel like an adventurer! Let's go back to our childhood and dive into the great outdoors!
After the tour, those staying in the western part of Iriomote Island will be sent to the accommodation. Those who return to Ishigaki Island also have a shower (free of charge), and after changing clothes, you can take a break at the "Seaside Cafe" where you can see the sea. 2 minutes walk to Uehara Port! You can relax until the departure time of the ship. It takes about 40 minutes from Iriomote Island to Ishigaki Island, so you can take a day trip.

Time schedule
Morning course meeting place If you are attending from Ishigaki Island, please board the boat from Ishigaki Island to Uehara Port at 8:30. We will pick you up at Uehara Port. Those staying at Iriomote Island will be picked up at the inn. The pick-up time will be discussed by phone the day before. If you are staying in the eastern part of Iriomote Island, please rent a car and come to our shop near Uehara Port.
Afternoon course meeting place Please come to our shop near Uehara Port by 13:00.

Those who stay in the western district (near Uehara port) of Iriomote Island will be pick-up. Those who participate from Ishigaki, pick you up if you come in the morning 8:30 Hatsuyasu Sakae tourism ship up to Uehara Port.
