Experience a waterfall walk at Tanashita Fudo Falls in Shibukawa City, Gunma Prefecture, which is one of Japan's top 100 waterfalls. A female guide will carefully guide you on the manners of entering the waterfall. We will provide the bodice you will use for the waterfall hike, so even first-timers can participate with confidence, without bringing anything. ~ Experience schedule ~ 10:00 or 14:00 Gather at the local parking lot, Reception, Change of clothes After receiving the reception, you will be given a bodice, so please change into a simple imperial room. 10:20 or 14:20 Move to the waterfall. Pass behind the waterfall and head to the waterfall basin while paying a visit to Fudo-sama. 10:40 or 14:40 After purifying yourself and practicing the etiquette of going to the waterfall, entering the waterfall 11:30 or 15:50 Changing clothes ~ Dismissing After changing, warm drinks will be prepared. We will AirDrop the drone footage, iPhone videos and photos, and give you a certificate of completion.

Kamakura is a popular tourist destination for Japanese and foreign visitors. It is a place where many Japanese traditions have been preserved along with nature. And it was a birthplace of the Kamakura shogunate known as the samurai regime. We are carrying out a SAMURAI Project to offer a Japanese cultural experience at the Kigen-in temple, usually not open to the public, located in the vicinity of JR Kita-Kamakura Station. [Flow of Experience] 1 Handout of materials and explanation about events 2 Drawing of zen art with a brush 3 Guidance by Head of Monk of Kigen-in upon zazen 4 First zazen experience 5 Second zazen experience 6 Lecture by Head of Monk of Kigen-in upon zen philosophy with use of explanatory pictures 7 Third zazen experience 8 Another drawing of zen art on Sekishu Banshi (traditional handmade paper, a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage) 9 Commentary on zen art and sharing of impression of experience 10 Event end * Please be noted that the order of the event may vary depending upon circumstance on the day of event.
