It is an energy-saving dyeing method that requires only a small amount of water. Please bring in one item of cloth, T-shirt, or other item you would like to dye using Red Garla dye and have it dyed freely. You can choose your favorite color and do tie-dye or gradation. I use various parts of the plant to get the color on the cloth. Put the dyeing plant in a pot and heat it to make a dyeing solution. Dye the cloth by immersing it in the liquid. Please note that the cloth used for dyeing is silk, cotton, linen and wool products and will not dye cloth made of chemical fibers.

This vegetable dyeing is also used in some of the dyeing techniques of Oshima Tsumugi. At Amami-no-Sato, you can actually dye handkerchiefs and other cloth products with plant dyes to create original scarves in deep colors. After the experience, you can take a walk in the elegant Japanese garden that shows the expressions of the four seasons and the Amami-style garden that reproduces the virgin forest of Amami.
