However, as a company focused on mountain restoration, we have been opening up the mountain during our downtime to let people know about our current situation and efforts. With this in mind, we have implemented various initiatives. Our mine extracts raw materials for ceramics and develops stone for pottery, tiles, concrete materials, and landscaping. The role of mining has changed over time. However, this place still has stories to tell and hidden charms to treasure. This may be the only experience in Japan where you can once again feel the breath of a mine and experience its history. As an increasing number of mines are closing, this is the challenge of lighting a new light. It means continuing to run with respect for the past and hope for the future.
