Yuzo Okamura, a longtime actor with the Warabiza theater, celebrates his 50th anniversary this year. Nicknamed "Tori-san" (Tori-san) for his skill at imitating the sound of a rooster, Okamura has pioneered Warabiza musicals, supporting numerous productions since starring in the theater's first musical, "Oga no Onimaru." He is currently active in television commercials, narration, and dramas. He recently appeared in the NHK historical drama "Berabou." Born in November 1950, three months before the founding of Warabiza, he has grown older alongside the theater. Enjoy Nagashi Somen, a winter-only experience, in a heated semi-private room. Experience the bliss of nagashi somen, a traditional Akita dish beloved for over 30 years, with a luxuriously heated dining room. The restaurant also features a Kura Cafe. This set includes a Nagashi Somen Set (winter-only, with three dipping sauces), a tempura platter, a choice of hot pot (kansan beef hotpot or herb hotpot), and a ¥2,000 combined souvenir, meal, and bathing voucher for use at roadside stations like Misato. **(The combined voucher cannot be used to pay for the Somen Set Plan on-site. It can be used as a meal voucher for any additional food or drink ordered in addition to the set plan. This experience plan allows you to tour the Tazawako Beer factory, which was founded in 1997 as Akita Prefecture's first local beer, and listen to an explanation of the manufacturing process. You can also take home a "globally recognized taste" that has won awards every year at numerous international beer competitions, including the European Beer Star Gold Award. You can choose two types of Tazawako Beer as souvenirs. Please note that access to the factory is currently being limited to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
