*。 ・★The trees at Lake Hibara are gradually starting to change color★・。 *Why not enjoy the spectacular view from the water that only those who participate in the canoeing experience can see? The leaves start to change color from around mid-October every year and can be enjoyed until early November. Lake Hibara is the largest lake in the Urabandai Plateau (approximately 38km in circumference, 10km north to south). ◆The open lake surface offers a panoramic view of the mountains, including the majestic Mt. Bandai, and the area called "Ikarigata" is a complex cove with a dense population of small islands. The excitement of a jungle cruise will surely make this a canoeing experience that you will never get bored of until the very end. ◆A two-seater kayak with excellent stability that even beginners can ride with confidence! There has never been a case of it sinking in the past. ◆A local guide will guide you to hidden spots. ◆You can enjoy canoeing with your dog. ◆Small children can also ride with you using the third seat. ◆The kayak used is a two-seater boat. We cannot accept requests for one person to board. Thank you for your understanding. *From late April to early May and from October to November, please be sure to take precautions against the cold and enjoy a walk on the lake. The water is still cold, so we recommend wearing rubber boots!

"Akashiba Gorge" is one of the most beautiful scenic spots in Bandai-Asahi National Park. The area is covered with broad-leaved trees such as mountain maple, maple, and beech, and is a famous spot for autumn leaves that turn bright red every fall. It is said that the name Akashiba Gorge was given because it was called "Japanese red wall". The Arakawa River, which has a gorge, looks like a rapid current when viewed from National Route 113, but on this tour, you will tour a relatively calm area surrounded by granite rocks by canoe. Unlike canoeing on the lake, the field with a current is thrilling. After warming up, in the first half we will row back to the flow of the river. With a break on the way, the second half is a canoe down the valley. The view of Akashiba Gorge from the water with a guide is exceptional. Although it will be held rain or shine, it may be canceled at the discretion of the local guide, such as when the flow of the river is very fast. In that case, the fee will be fully refunded. Basic pets cannot ride together. Please contact us if you have enough experience.

[Until March 20th] Once the autumn leaves have finished, the 2025 winter season is finally upon us! This is a snow trekking trip to the frozen waterfall known as Hyobaku in Zao, Yamagata. Every winter, the entire huge waterfall freezes over, creating a frozen waterfall about 30 meters high and several tens of meters wide. Its power cannot be conveyed in a photo. This area, which has long attracted ice climbing enthusiasts, is called the Ice Garden, and is filled with a world of ice that is like something out of a movie. In search of unknown, spectacular views, step into the world of ice that spreads across Senninzawa Ice Garden. On the way there, head to the end of the lift at Zao Liza World Ski Resort, mainly going downhill to reach the frozen waterfall. The end of the second lift is a field of frost-covered trees lined with large ice monsters. You can also enjoy viewing the frost-covered trees. Put on crampons from the end of the lift and trek for about an hour to Senninzawa Ice Garden. Rental snowshoes and other lightweight gear were introduced two seasons ago. Once you arrive, it's time for lunch while watching the icefall. The guide will provide you with hot water, so please bring a lunch to warm you up, such as instant noodles. We will also set up a tent-type toilet during lunch, so you can use the restroom. You can hydrate without worrying about the toilet. After enjoying the mysterious world of ice, you will climb back up the steep slope and change into snowshoes. You can walk on the fluffy new snow, slide on your buttocks, and on the way back, you will walk down to the ski resort without using the lift. Those who are new to snow mountain climbing can participate, but you will need the stamina to walk for more than four hours on your own feet with a backpack on. There are some steep descents and climbs. *If the route to the icefall cannot be safely walked due to field conditions, we may change to a walk around the area on snowshoes. <Equipment> Snowshoes: ATLAS Helium BC 23,26 (Mountain snowshoes with innovative lightness and portability) Poles: Montbell Fall Line Poles (Lightweight poles for backcountry) Light crampons: Montbell Snow Spikes 10 (Required for steep slopes up to the icefall) Helmet: Montbell Alpine Helmet (Wear when approaching the icefall. Store in a backpack while moving) <Not included in the price> Parking fee (1,000 yen on weekends and holidays only, free on weekdays) * Our guides can speak English, so English speakers are welcome to join. * Recommended age: 10 years old and above * We also accept participants of 6 or more people. Please contact us. * Please contact us in advance if you have a chronic illness or are concerned about your physical strength. * Pets are not allowed.
This snowshoeing tour was one of the best things I did in Japan, even as a foreigner. All the guides I was with spoke very good English and were super knowledgeable and fun to talk to. They responded quickly to my queries about transport to Zao Liza World (which can be accessed by bus from Yamagata if well timed), and details about the experience. The equipment is high quality and very fun to learn to use. The scenery and waterfall is very impressive. Overall, value for money and fun is fantastic and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone travelling in Japan.

It is a kayak tour at Lake Tazawa. Lake Tazawa, which has high transparency, can enjoy a beautiful gradation of emerald green in shallow areas and cobalt blue in deep areas. Beginners are okay too! It is a stable kayak. First of all, we practice in shallow water, so even beginners can participate with confidence. We have a two-seater kayak for parents and children. Let's go to see "Tazawako Blue" from shallow to deep. Forests and mountains spread around the lake, and you can enjoy seasonal scenery such as fresh green in spring and colored leaves in autumn. You can also play in the water in the summer.

Experienced guides will safely support children and the elderly. Experienced people can also experience full-scale downhill! !! Lunch time is also a special time.
We had originally booked the normal mountainbike tour, but upgrades to the electric one due to the heat. I would suggest that everyone take the electric version! It is a bit more expensive, but it makes for a fantastic experience whilst not overburdening yourself. The instructions were very clear. The guides were extraordinary: kind, patient and with a lot of humour. We're a family of 4, with two kids ages 11 and 13. We all enjoyed it and the guides made sure everyone could enjoy it. We enjoyed the ride, nature, everything!

This is a pleasure-boat with an observation deck "Moriyoshimaru", travels between Taihei Lake and Komata Gorge. You can enjoy both the sightseeing boat of lake and an exploring around the unexplored nature! Taihei Lake is an artificial lake which was made according to the completion of 30km Moriyoshi Dam. It is crowded with the explorers of valley views and anglers during the season. It only takes about 15 minutes boat ride to arrive at Komata Gorge Pier. There is a 1.8km long promenade in Komata Gorge where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and nature of seasons. From the fresh green in spring to the deep green in summer, Komata Gorge fascinates people with its refreshing scenery worthy of the name of “hidden world”. Furthermore, the autumn leaves of Okumoriyoshi are so colorful that can be described as "embroidery".
