For those who prefer to explore and experience the beauty of the mountains over adventure, this trekking/hiking experience is available on snowshoes or snowshoes. We offer four courses. In April, we offer additional courses in addition to the standard ones in search of snow. In addition to walking, we also offer coffee breaks where you can make tables and chairs out of snow. We offer snow sculptures (snowmen), sliding down snowy slopes, and nature observation. We also offer forest and tree observation, as well as animal tracks and droppings. (This may not be possible depending on the weather and location.) Please let us know if you would like to observe Japanese serows or other wildlife. We also offer nature observation training experiences for students during the snowy season. Groups of eight or more people must contact us two weeks in advance. Repeat visitors will be guided to a different location from their previous visit (subject to conditions). When booking, please indicate whether you are a beginner, have done it several times before, or have done it every year. We will guide you to the most suitable location (a location suited to your physical condition, a view on a clear day, or a safe forest area in a blizzard). Repeat customers (individual customers who have experienced the activity one or two years ago) will receive a small gift on the day of the experience. Please contact us. Lunch is required for the one-day snowshoe/snowshoe hike. Depending on the course, weather, and number of participants, the local guide may or may not be able to prepare lunch. The local guide will contact the person who made the reservation at least a few days in advance, and we will discuss the details at that time. Examples of lunch: Oden hotpot, etc. Please note that we may not be able to provide guides or accompanying interpreters in English, Chinese, or Spanish, so please contact us in advance.

Snowshoe experience (for intermediate level) Put on your snowshoes and head out into the world of silver! This is a light mountain climbing course that allows you to easily enjoy authentic snowy mountains, based in Takamine Plateau at an altitude of 2,000m. Enjoy snowshoe trekking with the visitor center staff who are knowledgeable about nature and mountains. You can dive into the fluffy snow or enjoy sledding to your heart's content! This is an intermediate plan recommended for those who want to try snowshoeing this winter. On the day, we will accept you on the second floor of the Takamine Plateau Visitor Center! We have rental items, a shop, changing rooms, and a cafe with light meals. We also recommend the nearest day-trip hot spring facility to soothe your cold body! If you would like to rent snowwear and snow boots, please let us know your height and shoe size when you apply.

An easy course for those who want to try snowshoeing♪ We have prepared an easy walking course for those who want to try snowshoeing, a popular winter sport, but don't want to go mountain climbing! Based at Takamine Mountain Park (ski resort), you will cruise the grounds on a snowmobile♪ After that, you will enjoy snowshoeing in the silvery white world at an altitude of 2000m with staff who are knowledgeable about nature and mountains. More than half of the course is traveled by snowmobile, so it is a course where you can enjoy a leisurely snowshoe hike. Only at Takamine Mountain Park can you enjoy snowmobiles and snowshoes at the same time! If you would like to rent snowwear and snow boots, please let us know your height and shoe size when you apply.

Just a short walk from our Dancing Snow office, you'll find stunning nature. Climb, descend, snowshoes and enjoy access to pristine forests. Anyone from small children can easily do it ♪ (Please prepare snow boots and boots.) We will take a walk in a safe forest that will be fun for all customers. You can also take a walk on walking skis (skis and boots can be rented), so please feel free to contact us. At noon, we will make a snow table and enjoy a warm lunch together♪ Usually, it is a hot sandwich, but we can change the menu as necessary, such as cheese fondue (we will also prepare wine).

Climbing of Asama mountain range-basket. This is a full-fledged snowshoe course where you can fully experience from the top of the mountain to the foot of the mountain. Kirigamine is a refreshing plateau where flowers bloom in summer, but the gentle topography makes it a suitable field for snowshoeing in winter. The grassland area has few tall trees, so there is nothing to block it, making it an attractive place with a sense of openness. Recommended for those who are interested in snowy mountains but have not taken a step. Feel free to start the snowy mountains with snowshoes. We are looking forward to your participation in groups such as family and climbing friends. First, take the lift to the top of the mountain!
