Oyunuma is located in the Noboribetsu volcanic area connected to Jigokudani. Enjoy the beautiful route to Oyunuma, covered in the geothermal heat and primeval forest that Noboribetsu Onsen is proud of, with crampons or snowshoes. As you walk along the promenade through the primeval forest in the snowy scenery, you will see the steaming Oyunuma Pond. The hot spring swamp that appears in the middle of nature is a scenic spot with a mysterious appearance.

Introducing winter experiences in Hokkaido. Learn how to use poles in deep snow, how to walk on snowshoes, and how to go up and down. We will snowshoe for an hour through the mountain forest of Orofure Pass, taking a break under the snow-covered trees. Don't forget your camera, as there are many spots to take photos, such as the "snowflakes" that are said to be no two alike, and the beautiful frost-covered trees that you can see up close!

Go to the frozen lake with snowshoes! This is a tour that takes you to Lake Tachibana near Karurus Hot Spring Village. We walked for about an hour on snowshoes through the snow-covered forest to the lake, and then took a break on the beautiful lakeside. We will visit one of the three major frost-covered trees in Hokkaido. For about 10 weeks in winter, icicles up to 2 meters long and 2 meters high appear in the ice cave of the Noboribetsu River. This tour will leave you with an unforgettable experience, as you can admire the fantastic frost-covered trees and walk through fir trees and primeval forests in a silvery world on snowshoes.
