We provide free transportation to and from Sapporo Station. Put on your snowshoes and head into the winter forest. This tour is recommended for those who want to have a different snowshoeing experience or want to make their snowshoeing debut. Oku-Nikko Snowshoe Hike Tour. Ioritaki is a waterfall that quietly cascades down in a quiet forest in Nikko National Park. This 20m waterfall is located at an altitude of 1,686m, and due to the severe cold, it slowly freezes over time, turning it into a stunning ice-blue icefall.

This is a snow trekking trip to see a large icefall with a drop of 50m or more. In the mountainous areas of southern Nara Prefecture, icefalls form here and there during the winter, but this one is the largest. There are places where it is difficult to walk on the snowy mountain trails, so we wear light crampons and walk slowly with the guide. The walking time is about 1 hour uphill and 40 minutes downhill, walking slowly while taking pictures.
