In February 2012, we started operating the "Storyteller Bus" in order to help our staff members who were affected by the disaster tell us about their experiences at the time and raise awareness of disaster prevention. In 2017, the 3rd Japan Tourism Award <Grand Prize> was awarded to the "Kataribe Bus", which runs every day without fail. It conveys real experiences and lessons that cannot be learned just by looking around the town. The mission of those of us who were saved that day is not to forget. And keep talking. It doesn't matter whether it's too early or too late to learn about the situation at the time of the earthquake and the current situation in the affected areas. We recommend that you take the bus as many times as you like, not just once. [Schedule] Depart from hotel at 8:45 am |Arrive at hotel around 9:45 am (required time is about 60 minutes) [Course example] Depart from hotel = = Togura area = = In front of Takano Kaikan = = Disaster prevention office = = Hotel [Price] Adults (junior high school students and older): 500 yen Children (elementary school students and younger): 250 yen *Children aged 0 to 1 years old are free・The above course is subject to change.・The service may be canceled due to weather conditions.
