There is also an area within walking distance where you can play in the snow, Akagi Shrine, which is said to grant women's wishes, and Torii Pass, where you can enjoy a spectacular view without having to climb the mountain. You can catch smelt on the ice in the morning, and you can enjoy the spectacular view of hoarfrost in the early morning, so it is recommended to stay the night before and experience it.
