The highest waterfall in Japan with a 350m drop. The waterfall that has been broken into four steps has the largest amount of water in spring and summer. 2012 Year We will take a stroll around Maitreyahara (altitude 1930m) that became a Ramsar Convention registered wetland in July. It is a walk through the woods of Maitreyahara that is magnificent. In summer, walk slowly while enjoying the autumn leaves while watching alpine flowers such as Watasuge and Takayama butterflies. We will also guide you to the observation deck overlooking the caldera.
