Due to bird flu measures, you can no longer see Steller's sea eagles and white-tailed eagles as much as before, but you can see Ezo deer, swans, white-tailed eagles, etc. trying to steal the food from the red-crowned cranes. When they were feeding the cranes with raw fish, this was the only place in the world where you could see the red-crowned cranes vs. eagles fighting over food. The main focus will be on large birds of prey, such as Steller's sea eagles and white-tailed eagles, which are designated as natural monuments and visit Shiretoko in winter.
