Limited to summer, this is a nightly beetle and stag beetle hunting tour, aimed at small children. We will mainly hold the event on weekdays when there is less competition. We apologize for the late hours, but we would be happy if we could help you make summer memories with your children. We look forward to your early reservations. ▼Experience content On the day, we will visit several points and introduce tips for observation. We will observe beetles and stag beetles. You can see cicadas emerging, long-eared beetles, stag beetles, brown beetles, and on rare occasions, raccoon dogs. It is safe at night as there are few wasps. The number of observations varies depending on the weather, but generally ranges from a few to a few dozen at most, with fewer observed before and after rain. Please understand that we cannot commit to the number of observations due to the natural environment. All the insects we observed will be released locally, and everyone will be given the same insects that they have captured in the local areas (mainly Ibaraki and Tochigi prefectures). ▼About gathering・Customers by car or on foot: Please come directly to the point at 7:00 pm *Details will be provided only to guests who have made a reservation ▼Dispersal ends around 8:30 pm, and you can return by train (JR) . On the way back, we can pick you up at the nearest station. If you are within walking distance from the station, points will be deducted. The second summer vacation special (planned to be held with a small number of people) is a tour that only children can participate in. Parents are only required to pick up and drop off their children. (Elementary school students who can travel to Chofu Station by train can be picked up at the station. Drop-off will also be to Chofu Station.) This tour takes you up Mt. Kintoki, the highest peak on the outer rim of the Hakone volcano, and allows you to see flowers with a different look to those found at Lake Ashi or the grasslands of Sengokuhara. The area is also famous for the legend of Kintaro, so you can enjoy climbing while thinking about history. The view from the peak after reaching the top is a spectacular sight that you should see at least once in your life. It is also highly recommended for those who want to start mountain climbing.

This tour allows you to relax and enjoy a chill time on the beach of Lake Ashi, enjoying a forest bath and sipping delicious coffee. The tour takes place in Hakone Yasuragi no Mori, near Hakone-machi Port. You will stroll through the forest, bathed in the pleasant sunlight filtering through the trees, before heading to the quiet lakeside beach of Shirahama. In addition to the tour, you will also make a tincture to enjoy the natural aromas recommended for chill time. (Of course, you can take it home!) Relax and refresh yourself in nature.

Hinohara Village is the only village on land in Tokyo. Deep inside the village, on a ridge well over 700m above sea level, lies the old house "Kyu Kobayashi Family Residence". Built in the mid-Edo period (more than 320 years ago), this mountain house is literally an "old house in the sky". This tour, which takes you there by mountain monorail that goes straight up a super steep slope of nearly 45 degrees, is an extremely extraordinary experience that will leave a deep impression on your memory, both geographically and historically, as well as physically. The tour meets at the Tokyo Back Mountain Base in front of JR Musashi-Itsukaichi Station, and includes transportation to the site by private car. *Hinohara Village has been designated as a national ecotourism promotion area, and as an exception, transportation to the ecotour site by car is permitted. (Your accompanying guide, Jinken, is a certified eco-tour guide for Hinode Village.) For lunch, you will be served at the Kobayashi Family House, with a lunchbox of light snacks (Cuban sandwiches) made specially for the Tokyo Urayama Base, and coffee brewed with water that participants themselves will have drawn from a special spring in the area. After experiencing the old mountain house, we will move on to another highlight of the day. We will stop at Kanoto Rock, a power spot known only to those in the know, and walk along the valley using chains. Here, too, you can experience a part of the local mountain worship and lifestyle culture. On the way back, we will cross a suspension bridge over the valley just beyond the Akigawa River from the village and enjoy a foot bath at a popular local hot spring. Once your feet are warm, we will head to a local cafe renovated from an old house, recommended by our guide (Jinken). We will take a break at CAFE POUND, the most popular cafe in the area, renovated from a Showa-era house by the owner himself. A private car will pick you up from the station, and you will be accompanied by a Hinode Village certified eco-tour guide. It will be a very fulfilling day where you can experience the lifestyle and culture of a mountain village. This is a premium tour with a capacity of only 6 people.
