<About Korakukan> Korakukan was built in 1910 as a welfare facility for employees of Kosaka Mine in Akita Prefecture. It is characterized by its blend of Japanese and Western styles, which was rare at the time. What is noteworthy is that it is still an active playhouse. From late April to early November, popular plays and revue shows are performed once to three times a day. During the winter months, when there are no performances, the museum is open as a tour facility.

A snowmobile is a motor vehicle equipped with skis that runs on snow. This tour takes you on private roads, so you don't need a driver's license or an international driver's license. This tour is open from end of December to early March. This tour starts from Yashima Station. You can use snowwear, pants, Pair of gloves helmet and Boots for free at the venue. Please let us know your size in advance. After receiving an explanation of how to use a snowmobile, you will drive in an open space on the snow with instructor. This is a food culture experience in Yurihonjo City, Akita Prefecture, and a walking tour of the Ushu Kameda Domain and Kameda Castle Town. In the morning, you will make traditional Hina mochi (rice cakes) at a community center in Kameda Town. Knead rice flour and wrap it in red bean paste, then stamp the mochi with Domyoji powder colored with food coloring.
