(Payment on the day is cash only.) ★You can get a cheaper experience by booking through the official website http://www.senryuzan.jp/access_experience.html! ★[LEVEL: 1] Sake cups, soba cups, small plates...+1,100 yen (4,000 yen + 1,100 yen = 5,100 yen total). This applies to sake cups and small soba cups. The approximate size before firing is soba cups: diameter 7.0 cm x height 8.0 cm or less, small plates: diameter 13 cm or less. ★[LEVEL: 2] Cups, rice bowls, small bowls...+1,650 yen (4,000 yen + 1,650 yen = 5,650 yen total). This applies to ordinary cups, teacups, rice bowls, small bowls, etc. Due to its size and challenging nature, this is the perfect experience for beginners. ★[LEVEL: 3] Bowls, plates, vases, mugs... +2,200 yen (4,000 yen + 2,200 yen = 6,600 yen total). This is for slightly larger and more challenging items. The potter will create and attach the mug handle at a later date. *Extremely large items are not permitted. The pre-fired size must be approximately 20 cm or less, and for bowls, the diameter must be 17 cm or less. [Experience Notes] *Registration is a tentative reservation. Instructors will provide as much support as possible, and the content is designed to allow participants to create with their own hands as much as possible, so you'll feel a sense of accomplishment and a sense of fulfillment from making something with your own hands. Experienced potters will provide easy instruction, so even beginners are welcome. Please feel free to join us. ◆Plan Details◆ This is a full-scale potter's wheel experience. Mukuroji Woodware, which specializes in making wooden tableware, opens its workshop to the public on the 4th Saturday of every month to hold workshops♪★ Experience making butter knives using professional machinery★ The butter knives you make will be delivered on the same day. You can take it home. We will accept applications from just one person! We will do our best to make sure you have a fun and injury-free time! ~Procedure of the experience~ 1. Draw a side view of a butter knife with a pencil. 2. Cut outside the line you drew with a scroll saw. 3.Use a machine called a belt sander to sand down to the lines on the side view. 4. Cut the unnecessary parts using a saw. 5. Draw a top view of the butter knife with a pencil. 6. Use a belt sander to sand down to the lines shown on the top view. 7. Polish with sponge sander and sandpaper by hand. 8. Wear gloves and apply oil with a rag to complete. Customers who participate in this plan will receive a cup of home-roasted coffee. The workshop is in a great location, surrounded by nature and close to the sea. If the weather is nice, you might even be able to enjoy a spectacular sunset with a cup of coffee in hand! ?
