"Kobo Seikan" has a workshop, shop, and cafe, and you can enjoy a tour of the Yamanaka lacquerware production site, experience turning the wood, and enjoy shopping, lacquerware, and cafes and sweets. In this course, we will visit the studio (I will explain) ~ Making a vase ~ Lacquerware experience at a cafe (with a drink) Here, the lacquerware craftsmen are working every day. In this experience, you can observe it up close and learn about lacquerware production. The staff will give you easy-to-understand instructions. Next, you will make your own original flower vase using the wood turning wheel and plane that the craftsmen actually use. You can experience full-fledged wood sawing through making single flower vase. Most of the shapes are carved by yourself, so it's a little bit difficult, but it's fun! ! ! A friendly wood craftsman will teach you carefully, so you can make it yourself until the final completion. You will be satisfied. It is fun. After that, you can enjoy drinks made with lacquerware and sweets at the cafe. Please relax and enjoy the lacquerware experience. If you have any questions, feel free to ask the staff or craftsmen. You can now park your car on the first floor of our building and go out! If you would like to park your car and go sightseeing in Kanazawa, please come to our store. The daily fee is 800 yen (tax included) and we are limited to one car per day, so it's first come, first served! Reservations are required! *Please note that the parking lot may not be available during events held in our building, so please be sure to check with us. The "Nagadzubei" bus stop is right next to our store.

This course includes a workshop tour (with explanation) - making a vase - lacquerware experience at the cafe (one drink included). Lacquerware craftsmen work here every day. In this experience, you can observe them up close and learn about lacquerware production. The staff will explain it in an easy-to-understand way. Next, you will make your own original lacquered chopsticks at the place where the craftsmen actually work. Think about the design of the chopsticks and paint them with real lacquer. You can experience authentic lacquer painting. The lacquer craftsmen will teach you carefully, so you can make them yourself until they are completed. You will surely be satisfied. It's fun. After that, you can enjoy drinks made with lacquerware at the cafe and taste sweets. Please relax and enjoy the lacquerware experience. Lacquer can cause a rash, but we check beforehand and use gloves to prevent it from coming into contact with the skin, so even small children can experience it. It is an experience of renting a tea room of a 100-year-old Kanazawa townhouse for each group. Listen to dozens of precious herbal incense ingredients and fragrant wood, and incense and psychology experts will counsel you in a relaxing atmosphere. In addition, we will also offer a relaxing incense experience by burning natural fragrant wood (sandalwood, agarwood, etc.) with incense charcoal and listening (smelling). Custom-made incense and incense are created according to each person's emotions and physical condition. This is a valuable course where you can also experience how to use the incense you made at the end. For one person, it is very popular because you can have a deep one-on-one conversation with Tomoyoka-sensei.

This is a glass fusing experience class. It is an 8-minute walk from Uchinada Station on the Hokuriku Railroad Asanogawa Line from Kanazawa Station. Since it is an indoor activity, you can experience it without worrying about the weather. You will create a one-of-a-kind original work by combining Italian Venetian glass and the traditional craft of Murano Island, millefiori (said to be a thousand flowers). It's okay even if it's your first time! We will teach you in a fun and careful manner.
