Learn how to greet, walk, and behave from the head of the Shinkawa School of Japanese dance. Shinkawa School has a wide variety of dances, from classical Japanese dance to Kabuki dance and Bon Odori. Head of the school, Shinkawa Ogio, will provide careful instruction so that everyone from children and students to the elderly can enjoy the dance. Yukata rentals are available, so please change into one first. We will teach you how to tie an obi and how to wear a beautiful yukata. The swordsmen who trained Tennen Rishin-ryu in Hino formed the Shinsengumi, which was said to be the strongest group of swordsmen at the end of the Edo period, and were called the last samurai. By experiencing swordsmanship in Hino, the hometown of the Shinsengumi, you can feel the history and culture of the last samurai.
